This is definitely one of my favorites around town. It’s the best if not the only Mexican food in the village. It feels more like a sports bar and is a great place to catch game than a traditional Mexican restaurant. I’m not clear on the backstory on how they became a Mexican restaurant because the bartenders and wait staff don’t seam to have a hair of Mexican heritage among them but the good news is that the cooks are authentic and so is the food. My personal favorite is the Chicken enchiladas with green sauce. Given that I went to college 10 miles from Mexico and spent many years eating from San Diego to Ensenada on the West and San Felipe on the East, I know real Mexican when I taste it. They also make a good drink including the various types of Margaritas. Definitely the place to go for Cinco de Mayo. Also this is a great place to go for kids. There is plenty of room and no one will care if you make a mess.
